EIB continues to support student loans in Hungary

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is lending EUR 100 million to Student Loan Centre (Diákhitel Központ) in Hungary to be channelled into loans financing costs incurred by students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at Hungarian Higher Education institutions.
Student Loan2: 2% shall be paid by the students from the 9% interest rate

Budapest, 8 October 2012 – Student Loan Center Limited Company determined the interest rate of the tied Student Loan2 in 9% per year regarding the period between 15 October 2012 and 31 December 2012. However, the interest rate payable by clients borrowing Student Loan2 is only 2% per year; the remaining part of the interest is taken over by state from the borrower in the form of State interest rate subsidy.

Budapest, 25th September, 2012 – The Student Loan Centre has called for an artistic application. Devoted to enhance the successful start of students’ carrier, the Centre calls for its application called “Képző” in the universal language of culture for painting, graphic and photographic artists, with the central theme of the representation of civic engagement and social sensitivity. Students of all the secondary and higher education institutions of Hungary may apply with any painting, graphic or photographic pieces of arts during the application period, which started a few days ago and finishes on 2nd November 2012.
